Set table options (Tables)

To set Table options, do one of the following:

• Click Table options and select an option.
• Select View menu> Table options.

You can use Table options to perform any of the following tasks:

Set table display settings

• Set rows and columns per page
• Include current date and time
• Fix headers on scrolling
• Define label wrapping
• Show the slicer area in one line
• See Table display settings dialog.

Rearrange the dimensions of a report

• Rearrange dimensions among the rows, columns, and slicer dimension area, without using drag and drop.
• Define dimension nesting.

Calculate values

• Apply a calculation to data values.
• Totals, Percentages, Average, Median, Minimum, Maximum, Variance, and Standard deviation can be applied.

Scale values

• Apply a scaling factor to data values. For example, scaling by 10 to the power of 3 multiples values by 1000.

Suppress values

• Hide values which are empty, are zero, or fall within a defined range.

Highlight values

• Apply a colour to values which fall within a defined data range. Up to five ranges can be highlighted.
