Suppress values dialog

To open the Suppress values dialog, do one of the following:

  • Click Table options / Chart options> Suppress values.
  • Select View menu> Table options / Chart options> Suppress values.

Suppressing certain rows and columns can simplify a report or chart and make it easier to understand its data.

To suppress values:

  1. Choose Rows, Columns, or both.
  2. Decide whether you want to suppress cells which are empty, cells which are either empty or zero, or cells which are either empty or contain a specified range of values.
  3. Click OK.

The current report will no longer show rows or columns which contain only the chosen values.

Note: Suppression cannot be used together with Ranking. Applying ranking will cancel an existing suppression, and applying suppression will cancel an existing ranking.

Note: Cell-level annotations (footnotes and missing values) are not displayed when suppression is applied.
