Create a local cube (*.cub) (Report list)

Local cubes (.CUB files, also called offline files) are files created from server-based cubes that can be accessed without a network connection. You can work with a local cube file offline and then synchronize its contents when you reconnect to the network.

To create a local cube, do one of the following:

• Click Create a local cube.
• Select File menu> Create local cube.

The Create a local cube dialog appears.

Note: Not all sites allow users to create local cubes. In that case this option will not be present.
