Missing value dictionary

To view a missing value dictionary, do one of the following:

Click the arrow beside the Report definition button on the toolbar, and select Missing value dictionary.
Select View menu> Information about report/data> Missing value dictionary.

To close the missing value dictionary page, do one of the following:

A missing value dictionary is a list of all the missing values in a cube. Missing value dictionaries have the following parts:

Data Source - The name of the cube.
Missing Values - A list of all the missing value symbols and their associated text.
- Missing values usually explain why certain data values are missing. (A missing value is not the same as a zero value.)
- Missing value symbols are the indicators that appear in Perspective to show that missing values are present. Missing value symbols do not appear in brackets in Perspective. (Symbols in brackets are footnote symbols.)
- Missing value text appears in a popup when you hover over a missing value symbol with your mouse cursor.
