Footnote dictionary

To view a footnote dictionary, do one of the following:

Click the arrow beside the Report definition button on the toolbar, and select Footnote dictionary.
Select View menu> Information about report/data> Footnote dictionary.

To close the footnote dictionary page, do one of the following:

A footnote dictionary is a list of all the footnotes in a cube. Footnote dictionaries have the following parts:

Data Source - The name of the cube.
Footnotes - A list of all the footnote symbols and their associated text.
- Footnote symbols are the indicators that appear in Perspective to show that footnotes are present. Footnote symbols appear in brackets in Perspective. For example: (1,2,*) shows three footnote symbols: 1, 2, and *.
- Footnote text appears in a popup when you hover over a footnote symbol with your mouse cursor.
