A footnote dictionary is a list of all the footnotes in a cube. Footnote dictionaries have the following parts:
Data Source - The name of the cube.
Footnotes - A list of all the footnote symbols and their associated text.
Footnote symbols are the indicators that appear in Perspective to show that footnotes are present. Footnote symbols appear in brackets in Perspective. For example: (1,2,*) shows three footnote symbols: 1, 2, and *.
Footnote text appears in a popup when you hover over a footnote symbol with your mouse cursor.
