Title area (Tables)
The title area of a report or chart appears directly underneath the toolbar.
An "info" icon beside the title indicates that the report or chart has summary notes associated with it. Click on the icon to open the Report notes.
Subtitles
Subtitles appear underneath the title. Some or all of the following subtitles may be present:
- Current date - The current date and time.
- Measures - If a Measure dimension (numeric dimension) is present in the data source, but no member selections have been made for it, the name of the Measures dimension and the default measure will appear as a subtitle.
For example, Measures: Quantity or Units: Cost.
- Default member - If a dimension's default member is not a total of the other members (an ALL member), and no member selection has been made, the name of the default member appears as a subtitle. This is most common in the case of a time series dimension.
For example, the subtitle might be Time: 1997, indicating that the report's data is for 1997.
- Source - A report's source is usually the creator of the data source.
For example, Source: Beyond 20/20 Inc.
- Required Footnotes - Required footnotes, if present, provide more information about the report. They appear at the bottom of printed tables. (They are called "required" footnotes because if present, they must appear in every representation of the report, including print.)
